What is it about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that prevents it from ending? Is what happened between us truly so unforgivable and insoluble? These are the questions "Homeland Lesson" seeks to answer. The series returns to the roots of the conflict, retracing the collision course that led from the Balfour Declaration (the "deal of the century" of its time) to the war that shaped and fixed the conflict to this day—the 1948 War.

Route 90, stretching 478 kilometers from Metula to Eilat, is the only axis that traverses the entire length of Israel, connecting three climate zones and the borders of Lebanon, Jordan, and Egypt. Only about 250,000 Jews and Palestinians live along its path. It is an area that serves, in effect, as the country's "backyard"—far from the populated center between Hadera and Gadera. This is a place inhabited by "seven mandates" of Israelis who chose, or were forced, to build their homes on the geographical and social margins of Israel.

The series "Just One More Story" examines Hebrew children's literature and its intergenerational transfer through the intimate moment of reading aloud. Across five thematic episodes—Language, Place, Family, Society, and Night—the series focuses on foundational texts and explores how Israeli culture is reflected in illustrations, rhymes, and melodies.

The series tackles the complexities and paradoxes of secularism in Israel and the fluidity of secular identity. Through encounters with figures from the worlds of culture, academia, and politics, it navigates between the personal and the public, and between daily life and institutional bureaucracy. It is a historical and sociological journey focusing on the widely discussed yet elusive phenomenon known as "Israeli secularism."

The series examines how the lives of six Israelis were shaped by the history of the state, and conversely, how their personal choices culminated in actions that influenced the nation. Spanning six decades of their lives, the six episodes attempt to weave a collective biography of the state from these individual stories. Ultimately, the series aims to present the complex and turbulent relationship Israelis maintain with their own "Israeliness."

The series documents the immense influence the bold kibbutz experiment had on Israeli society as a whole, as well as on the psyche and lifestyle of those who participated in it. On the surface, it is a story of a dream and its disillusionment; however, the dream was a harsh and demanding reality, and the disillusionment serves as an opening for new growth and new dreams.

How it adopted the image of the "White City" and how it confronted the "black and gray" city that developed in the shadows of that image. The series, winner of the 2004 Israeli Television Academy Award, follows the writers and performers of the texts that made us laugh, influenced us, and shaped the Israeli identity.

The series' name hints at its core principle: observing historical events through a personal and human lens. Each episode presents a historical figure at a decisive moment in their life—a moment where a historical event transforms into a personal conflict and an emotional process. These individual stories create a sequence covering Israeli history from the end of the 19th century to the Six-Day War. The choice of protagonists reveals various layers of this narrative—political, ideological, cultural, and economic. Despite its age, episodes of this masterful series are still broadcast on Educational Television and screened in countless formal and informal educational settings.
