Lines and Rows

Focusing on nine writers and poets who served in the Palmach (including S. Yizhar, Netiva Ben-Yehuda, and Haim Gouri), the film explores how they took ownership of their narratives and the personal reckoning they face regarding their writing since 1948.

The Lion Roared Twice

The film connects the tragic death of 12 reserve soldiers in Kfar Giladi in 2006 with the eight fallen of Tel Hai in 1920. It examines what has changed in the 86 years between them, the validity of the Tel Hai myth, and the modern relevance of 'dying for our country'.

Citizen Aloni

The Travels of the Duck

A tribute to the late Dudu Geva, who pushed Israeli journalism to its artistic limits. The film is constructed from comic strips and illustrations where real-life figures—family and colleagues—interact with Geva's iconic characters like 'The Duck' and 'Yosef the Clerk'.

Summer in Arad

In 2013, I wandered the streets of Arad, meeting veteran residents and newcomers: the founders, Russian immigrants, the Gur Hasidic community, Sudanese refugees, and the Bedouins of the region. The film explores a city planned with precision, now caught between its desert landscape and the 'For Sale' signs decorating its neighborhoods.

Here and Now

Reportage series, Reshet, 2015

At the beginning of 2015, shortly before the elections and not long after Operation Protective Edge, we took to the streets for a series of reports as part of the program "Here and Now." We met with voters and asked what they were thinking and in whom they placed their trust. We aimed to provide a platform for the full spectrum of opinions and sectors within Israeli society, offering an in-depth look and a broad perspective on core societal issues—the kind of topics the election cycle often avoids in favor of slogans, stereotypes, and demagoguery.
